We are proud to have represented c4c‑S (conect4children) at the 7th Nordic Conference on Pediatric and Orphan Medicines in Helsinki with our Chief Medical Officer Ricardo Fernandes presenting and actively contributing to the dialogue and our Trial Service Lead Pia Rautiainen engaging into meaningful discussions at our booth. What makes this conference truly special is its collaborative spirit. It brings together a unique community of experts across regulatory, ethical committees, academia, industry, as well as patient and parent representatives. We are all united by a shared ambition to accelerate the development of better treatment options for underserved patient populations, especially in pediatrics and rare diseases.
Over the two days, we were inspired by:
✨ Open exchange of ideas across disciplines
✨ Meaningful conversations on innovation and trial delivery
✨ A strong sense of purpose and community driving change
At c4c‑S, collaboration sits at the heart of what we do — from designing and delivering trial services to working closely with partners to improve feasibility, recruitment, and overall study success. Events like this reinforce the importance of working together across borders and expertise to make a real difference for patients and families.
A big thank you to the organisers Mia Bengtström and Pirkko Lepola and the incredible network of participants for creating such an engaging and forward-looking forum. It was the perfect moment to reconnect to our nordic National Hubs of Denmark (Pernille Skovby), Norway (Sigrun Margrethe Hjelle), Sweden (Stavros Koulizakos) and Estonia (Heli Rajasaar) and with many others from our c4c-S network: FinPedMed (Kalle Hoppu) and Pavla Pokorná
Let’s keep building momentum — together.
